On June 5th 2017 the Worshipful Company of Farmers and Farmers & Fletcher’s Hall played host to an important, national forum devoted to promoting co-ordination and co-operation between the many bodies operating in the farming health and wellbeing arena.

Then Master, Philip Wynn welcomed delegates from all over the UK to what is believed to be, the first forum of its kind ever held.

The attendees shared their experiences, many of them truly moving, discussed best practice and importantly, how best to create a much more ‘joined up’, nationwide approach to coping with what is rapidly becoming recognised as a major issue for farming, stress in the workplace.

With the discussion wide ranging and complex, the decision was taken to summarise the output and conclusions of the meeting in a ‘Discussion Paper’.

One of the actions agreed was the publication of a national list of resources, contacts and facilities. This document has now been compiled by the YANA Project is now available via this website.
