for training of young persons in agriculture

The winners will be announced in July 2024.

This Worshipful Company of Farmers scheme offers grants of up to £750 towards costs for training, short courses and workshops in the UK.

Applicants must be members of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs and aged 18 or over.

Tell us why you want to go on this course, what you would like to achieve from it, what the financial benefit of the grant means to you and how it can help your future. (Maximum 150 words)
I agree that the Worshipful Company of Farmers may retain relevant personal data (email, postal address, current job) and occasionally send me updates about the Trust’s work, the grants it offers and events it is organising. This agreement is given on the condition that the Trust does not share my data with any other organisation.

In submitting this application I confirm that the information that I have given is accurate and that I accept the terms and conditions, listed below, which would apply to any grant that may be awarded to me.

OUR GRANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If you are awarded a grant, you will be required to:

  1. acknowledge our support,
  2. provide two references from people who know you. If you are employed, your employer should be one of them,
  3. write a short report on the course or conference. Your report should be about 600-700 words long, including a 50-word summary, and
  4. provide receipts giving proof of expenditure, as required.

Reports, receipts and references can be emailed to NFYFC@farmerslivery.org.uk.

Paying for the course – we will be happy to pay for the course direct to the provider.

Please supply images of the course/training as jpegs (at least 2MB each). Please also provide a caption and credit line for each image. By supplying images you are agreeing that the Worshipful Company of Farmers may use these on its website, social media or in its published annual report.
