Members of the Farmers’ Company and the Alumni Association and guests are invited to join us for an immersive visit to Warner’s Distillery in Northamptonshire on Tuesday 6th October.
This specially designed day, with a bespoke tour, is at the kind invitation of Tom Warner, who founded the Company, with his wife Tina, in 2012. Tom, a Liveryman of the Distillers’ Company, will be giving guests a proper feel for the farm and what makes the business different. This will include a tractor and shoot trailer ride out to their main botanical growing areas, taking in the top fields of the farm, which includes the remains of a medieval manor’s terraced garden and what is believed to be the remains of one of the largest monastic fish pond systems in East Anglia. Back at the Distillery, Tom will walk everyone through how he grows, distils and creates the range, followed by a guided tasting.
Arrival time is 9:30 am at the local Village Hall for tea/coffee for a prompt 10:00 am start. A delicious two-course lunch will follow the tour, provided by a local caterer, before an approximate departure at 14:15.
The visit, inclusive of the tour and lunch, is £40.00, inclusive of fees, for WCF/WCFA Members and your guests; please use the link below to reserve your places. Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
