The Princess Royal Challenge Cup – inter-livery dingy race, supported by City Livery Yacht Club, will be held at Seaview sailing club near Ryde on the Isle of Wight on Friday and Saturday 11th and 12th September 2026. Experienced and novice sailors welcome. 

The races use the club’s identical Mermaid dingies skippered and crewed by a team of 4.

The cost of entry is £400 per team plus £100 per person for a light supper on Friday night and a celebration dinner on Saturday evening. Local accommodation is available.

All funds raised go towards the Lady Mayor’s appeal to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds experience sailing free of charge.
