The Farmers’ Company Charity provides support to promote agriculture and research, education, training, and travel in connection with the farming industry. Several funds are available for specific, restricted purposes, and further details of these are provided on the Grants page of our website. We can also consider funding suitable projects that do not necessarily meet these criteria but fall within our wider remit of supporting those working in agriculture or the related industries in the UK.

Each application will be assessed on its merits, and generally the level of individual Grant is up to £3,000, but larger awards may be considered in exceptional circumstances. Our preference is to provide support to individuals for specific projects where the need for grant funding is justified and in keeping with our purpose.

Details of how the individual funds support agriculture and associated industries:

“The Company is  a member of the Agri-Food Charities Partnership which works in collaboration with 50 other charities to support the industry.”
