'Tomorrows Agriculture Needs More Science Today' - is the topic for the 2020 WCF Agricultural Lecture Dinner

Update on plans for the 2020 Agricultural Lecture and Dinner

Published on

Our Agricultural Lecture and Dinner in 2020 will be held on Wednesday 22nd April.

This is in effect three events in one: a reception, a keynote lecture and discussion and a livery dinner. Once again we will return to the stylish Plaisterers’ Hall. Opened in 1972 and situated in the heart of the City of London, Plaisterers’ Hall reflects the grandeur of a bygone era in an ultra-modern setting. The venue, set within One London Wall designed by Foster + Partners, backs on to the remains of the original London Wall, which dates back to the 3rd century when the Romans built it.

Once again, thanks to our corporate supporters we have been able to limit the cost to Members of our Company and our Course Alumni to £95.00 per person. We hope that many of our Alumni will join us as usual. Guest tickets are £125.00

This year our guest speaker is: Professor Dale Sanders, Director of the John Innes Centre who will talk on the subject : “ Tomorrows Agriculture Needs More Science Today”

The timing of the event is 6.00 for 6.30pm. The evening will not only provide the chance to hear from the experts but also to raise questions and discuss the topic under the chairmanship of our Master. We commence Dinner at 7.45pm.
