On June 10th the annual golf match between the Worshipful Company of Farmers and members of The Farmers Club took place at Badgemore Park Club near Henley on Thames. The competition was a Four Ball better Ball match and the good news was that the Farmers won again by four and a half to one and a half. There were notable performances from Liverymen Andrew Slack and John Alliston but the stars of the team were the pairing of Past Master Graham Wilkinson and his wife Hilary who triumphed over two seasoned Farmers Club members.

It was particularly good to have Hilary playing for us and was the first lady to represent the Livery. With the agreement of The Farmers Club the format of next year's match will remain the same but would like to have a much more mixed entry following in Hilary's impressive entry.
