Survival training at RAF Waddington 2019

The Company's rearranged visit to RAF Waddington, hosted by Flt Lt Eric Adlington, took place on Tuesday 14th May. It proved to be a very educational, if for some slightly chastening experiences all the members of the party attempted to land a Phenom Jet into Cranwell on the bases amazing simulator. Our reporter for this visit, Assistant Clerk Duncan Couper, tells me that some members were rather more successful than others.

Survival Training was also part of the full and entertaining agenda for the day - which is perhaps in light of the flying skills demonstrated, just as well!

The Master also took the opportunity to present the Company's silver salver to this years winner Senior Air Traffic Controller Sqn Leader Allan Stubbs.
